SCIENCE AND PROCESSING OF CAST IRON - SPCI-9

CMRDI organized an International Conference in Luxor under the title of “Science and Processing of Cast Iron SPCi-9” . This is the first time for this conference to be held outside the group of the advanced industrial countries that insure the important role of CMRDI in the development of iron industry and high level scientific research published by Foundry Lab in recent period. More than 80 researchers had participated from twenty five countries representing Europe, America and East Asian countries as well as some Arab countries. More than a hundred research papers had been discussed. All of these papers have dealt with development and new technologies used in the foundry of cast iron and the challenges facing this industry. And it has been agreed the foundation of Trans. Tech. published to be publish the conference papers in a series of Key Engineering Material (KEM). At the end of the conference it had been announced on the host country of the next forum which is Argentina.
